A board certified orthopedic surgeon, Douglas Elenz has been practicing in Austin since 1996. He completed a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery Fellowship at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia/Tuckahoe Orthopaedic Associates in Richmond, Virginia. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas-Houston Medical School and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the McGraw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Elenz’s orthopaedic training includes experience covering both the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Steelers professional sports teams. He currently serves as a Team Orthopaedic Surgeon for Men’s Athletics at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Elenz earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin where he was a two-time captain and seven-time NCAA All American for the Longhorn Swim Team. He is a sports enthusiast and continues to enjoy swimming, traveling and photography.
An Austin native, Dr. Breazeale has practiced in Austin since 1997. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who completed a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City . He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwest Medical School in Dallas and completed his orthopaedic surgery training at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Dr. Breazeale’s sports medicine experience includes team coverage for the New York Mets and St. John’s University tennis tournament, coverage for the ATP, and high school team coverage both in New York and Texas.

Dr. Breazeale graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1986 from the University of Texas at Austin where he was a team captain and four-year NCAA All American swimmer for the Longhorns. An avid sports fan, his numerous hobbies include scuba diving, hunting, and fishing.

Samantha Kolock | North Clinic Director
In the early days of her career, Sam spent time working with professional and Olympic level athletes in a variety of sports including football, hockey, dance, rugby, distance running, and gymnastics.
While exercise remains a cornerstone in her beliefs, Sam understands that exercise cannot be appropriately instituted without the balance achieved in manual therapy. She is full body certified in ART, Graston, FMS, Trigger point therapy, Myofascial release, kinesiotaping, and dry needling.
She is also a certified athletic trainer, strength and conditioning coach, pilates instructor, and trained in precision nutrition.
When Sam is not treating patients, she trains as a competitive crossfit and strongman athlete. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her husband Steve and their dog Winberie. Sam hopes to one day conquer the Pacific Crest Trail.
Laura Geibel | Physical Therapist
Early in her career, Laura was involved in working with athletes including serving as a Student Athletic Trainer at The University of Texas at Austin with the Longhorn Football team. Throughout her career, she has worked with patients ranging from professional athletes to geriatrics. Laura has committed her career to helping people return to the activities they love.
Practicing what she preaches, she loves to exercise and participate in various activities like hiking, swimming, and cycling. She has participated in numerous marathons, triathlons, soccer tournaments, and cycling events. In her free time, you will likely find Laura either spending time with family and friends, mountain biking, camping, watching Longhorn sports, or volunteering with her Divine Canines therapy dog.
Diana ``Deedee`` Rivera | Physical Therapist | Orthopedic Resident
In the years following her undergraduate achievements, she worked as a PT aide. Here she was able to watch and assist numerous patients recovering from various ailments ranging from post-op ACL, hip replacement, carpal tunnel release, and many other cases; all of which fanned the flame of her intrigue to pursue more in the Physical Therapy field.
She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2022. While at Chatham she completed her final rotation here at ASM before being offered a job with the company. Deedee is currently the first orthopedic resident within the ASM organization, where she is receiving special training and mentorship focused on orthopedic and sports-related rehab. She has a passion for helping patients of all ages return to their active lifestyles and unique desires.
In her free time, you can find Deedee anywhere there is a body of water to relax by, lounging around with her rescued Staffordshire-Terrier (Brisket), or trying a new fitness class around town.

Chrissy Moreno | Physical Therapist
Chrissy received her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2007 & went on to earn her transitional Doctorate in 2014. Before continuing her education at the graduate level, she attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio for undergraduate Biology degree where she was part of the Delta Zeta sorority.
Chrissy knows that not every single approach is right for each patient and has spent her career being trained in a wide variety of modalities to enable her to individualize her approach to best fit the needs of her patients.
She has received her Mastery Certification in Manual therapy from Hands on Seminars, is certified through Titleist Performance Institute and Functional Movement Systems, FMS Level 1, earned Dry Needling Certification, and became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association in July 2020.
Chrissy is excited to be part of the Austin Sports Medicine team as she has always had a passion for sports, growing up playing volleyball and softball, and participating in intramural sports in college. Her interest in Physical Therapy was first sparked when she suffered an ACL injury herself playing softball her freshman year of high school. Through physical therapy and hard work, she was able to return to sport and has continued to live an active lifestyle. Chrissy is happy to now be able to help others to do the same. When not spending her time at work, Chrissy enjoys exploring what Austin has to offer her young family.
Kim Le | Physical Therapist
Early in her career, she has worked with collegiate football, basketball, lacrosse, hockey, and track & field athletes before transitioning to working with high school, collegiate, and professional baseball players, competitive powerlifters, and CrossFit athletes. She has also had a primary role in developing collegiate strength and conditioning programs within a Division III Swimming & Diving team and continues to coach athletes privately outside of her clinical work.
Kim made her transition from the Northeast to Texas after falling in love with the sports and fitness culture in Austin. She has worked with a variety of individuals and athletes with special interests in return to sport/activity, strength and conditioning in prehabilitation and rehabilitation, and injury risk reduction. When she is not in the clinic, you can find Kim coaching from her couch, at the gym, or on a trail being chased by various wildlife.
Colin Grillo | Physical Therapist | Orthopedic Resident
He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy with high honors from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX in 2023. He is currently the second resident in the ASM program, working towards being a board-certified orthopedic specialist (OCS).
Outside of the clinic, you can find Colin being outdoors, enjoying Austin’s delicious food, and spending time with his significant other.
Sonja Wanninger | Physical Therapy Assistant
Sonja is passionate about her role in helping individuals reach their personal goals with physical therapy and loves watching her patients’ confidence grow through the rehabilitation process. She enjoys coming up with creative ways to make PT fun and finds it an incredibly rewarding field of work.
Outside the clinic, Sonja enjoys teaching Irish dance, reading, crocheting, listening to music & podcasts, playing the piano, watching sports, staying in touch with her friends and family back in the Midwest, working out, and exploring the Austin area with her husband.

Nickol has been in the physical therapy field for 6 years working in various settings including: outpatient, sports, neuro and aquatics. She has interests in helping individuals of all ages get back to an active lifestyle. In her spare time, Nickol plays volleyball and pick-up sports in the evenings and coaches track for kids with disabilities. She also loves to travel, trying new restaurants and spending time with her loved ones.

Alanna DiBiasi | William Cannon Clinic Director
After graduating and becoming a licensed physical therapist, Alanna quickly gained a wide variety of experience. She initiated her career working in the burn ICU at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, and later at the regional burn center in Chester, PA. She then shifted her experience to orthopedics after taking a position with the 87th medical squadron with the US Air Force in Trenton, NJ, where she treated all active duty soldiers. Shortly after, she continued her career working with athletes near Philadelphia. These experiences helped Alanna grow tremendously as clinician, giving her the ability to work with the entire spectrum of athlete and treat a variety of injuries.
Alanna is excited to be a part of the Austin Sports Medicine team, especially that it gave her a great reason to return to a city that she fell in love with at the beginning of her career. She is excited to be in Austin, a city that promotes an active lifestyle. When she is not at work she enjoys hiking, running, paddle boarding, and rowing at Texas Rowing Center, along with dining in the area with her friends.

Henry is a life-long learner and incorporates the latest clinical research in his practice. He believes in a holistic approach, emphasizing both therapeutic exercise and manual therapy. His interests and experience are in orthopedics and pre/post-operative recovery for all ages. He hopes to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, with a Dry Needling Certification in the near future.
In his free time, Henry enjoys spending time with family and friends, fervently following college sports, and exploring his constantly changing hometown.
Michelle Materna | Physical Therapist
Driven by a desire to expand her knowledge and skills, Michelle pursued her graduate degree at the University of Connecticut, solidifying her expertise in physical therapy. In her last year, she embarked on a transformative clinical rotation in Austin, Texas. Captivated by the vibrant community and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals through her work, she decided to make Austin her home.
Michelle’s professional philosophy is centered around providing personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each patient. She believes in a holistic approach to therapy, combining manual therapy techniques such as dry needling with improving movement patterns of the entire body, utilizing her knowledge of both the neurological and musculoskeletal systems through the Barbell Rehab Method and other therapeutic exercises.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Michelle is an avid advocate for a healthy and balanced lifestyle. In her free time, you can find her engaging in a variety of physical activities, including weightlifting, hot yoga, SoulCycle, recreational soccer and enjoying leisurely walks around Town Lake. Her diverse interests in exercise reflect not only her commitment to physical fitness but also her appreciation for the different ways individuals can connect with their bodies. She also values the importance of social connections and enjoys her time spent with friends. Whether attending concerts, participating in trivia nights, paddle boarding, or cheering on her UConn Huskies basketball teams and Boston sports teams.

Priscilla Hall, PT, MPT, OCS, CIMT, Cert-DN, MLD-C | Physical Therapist
Priscilla earned the distinction of being board certified as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) through her thorough knowledge of treating orthopedic related injuries. She believes most physical therapy requires more than exercise and incorporates manual therapy as a regular part of her practice. Priscilla studied and became a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT) in an effort to hone her manual therapy skills. Her continued improvement focus has led her to study Functional Dry Needling to compliment her manual skills. She is certified in Dry Needling (Cert DN).
Priscilla enjoys staying fit by training for and competing in triathlons and marathons. She has completed 3 Ironman triathlons and has qualified for and ran the Boston Marathon. She enjoys spending time with her husband Tony, while they raise their sons Jamus and Jace, and daughter Joey.
Isaiah Martinez | Physical Therapist
In the clinic, Isaiah strives to provide the best orthopedic care for all conditions. He enjoys engaging with various populations. His ultimate goal is to help individuals achieve optimal function and movement to enhance quality of life. He has completed all postgraduate manual therapy courses from the University of St. Augustine and is certified in manual therapy. He has completed levels 1 & 2 of functional dry needling.
Isaiah’s other areas of interest include: skiing, mountain biking, playing music, watching Austin FC matches, CrossFit, and other social/community events around the Austin area.
